Parent Infant Mental Health Specialist

Description
The Center for Great Expectations is seeking a full time Parent Infant Mental Health Specialist to provide attachment focused assessments and trauma informed interventions to parent/child (age 0-5) dyads through our Parent Infant Mental Health Program that provides services in our Adult and Adolescent residential programs, our outpatient substance abuse program, and supportive housing program.

The Center for Great Expectations is a non-profit agency which provides a safe, nurturing environment for women and their children as they work to overcome a life experience of trauma, abuse, homelessness, or addiction. Therefore, it is essential that each staff member be able to embrace our approach of responding to mothers, children, and co-workers in an uplifting positive way, emphasizing the value that each person possesses.

Minimum Education & Experience (including licenses)
1. Master’s degree in counseling, education, social work or related field
2. Post graduate education/certification in parent-infant mental health
3. Licensed Clinical Psychologist, LCSW or LPC or eligible to receive such credentials within one year of employment
4. A minimum of two years of experience in providing trauma informed clinical services to parents and children
5. Bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking a plus
